Neuicon's Legions to the Throne of Khorne: Updated Feb. 12, 2009 / A Champion Arises

Woot! My third army is now being created; Legions to the Throne of Khorne, and will be an army ONLY comprised of Khorne Bezerkers.

I have begun work on the first squad of 10 Bezerkers; here is a sample of a final product:

And that's right, they'll ALL be on Privateer Press bases. Like my other Space Marine creations, I go for simple things, especially with 4 armies under my belt. The color scheme is simple, effective and pretty to me! Woot!

No shoulderpads on my guys! I love the sleek, quick and agile look to them!

The trim is done in Boltgun Metal with a Badab Black Wash.

Another finished Bezerker...

I re-touched the first Bezerker and painted the shoulderpads Boltgun Metal without a wash over it; I also threw on some Shining Gold onto his chains.

looking good. there is only one thing i hate about the berzerker models, THOSE UGLY ASS ARMS. sorry had to get that out of my system Embarassed

<3 the t-slit helmets. I need to pick up some zerker heads on ebay.

I really liek the look of the PP bases they are only slightly larger and make the models as a whole look a lot better imo. More like a finished piece and less like a model slapped on a plastic bottle cap.

Thank you so very much for the kind comments, Ironblood; I really take those deeply because I need all the inspiration and support I can get when painting Space Marine models, LOL!

Dude, I know what you mean about the arms! Another thing about the bases; I am simply going to tell people to measure from the inside of the base, where the outer border starts from the inside of the base itself, as it is exactly the same size as a GW base.

So, for all of you, I must have no life since being free from work until my move, because I finished an HQ choice, a Chaos Terminator Lord; that's right kiddies, I'm taking Termies in this army, too! Gonna do the same scheme and Khorne them all up!

Damn you stop making me want to buy a bunch of chaos kits!

i have a couple of the "skull" and the normalish helmets if you want them. I'll never use them i bought some berzerker heads off of ebay for the t-slit helms and have the rest of them rolling arround tainting my bits box.

They look really good, especially the Lord.
Like those bases, looks much more better then GW-ones. Gives a certain 'Je ne sais quoi' to the models.
