I'm not into selling my work and I was thinking ..... What if I did it on a 1 in and 1 out bases? What I mean is, if I paint and ship a figure to you, you send me an unassembled, unprimed and unpainted figure back to me, of the same value (maybe a few bucks more to recoupe my time and materials) No levels, I.E level 1= crap, level 2= better crap, Level 3= nice, Level 4= great But seriously, my work will be to the standard that you see in the forum. Do you guys think that something like this would fly?

Maybe seeing as you have impressive paint jobs. I think people would like it for more center piece models like commanders and stuff.

Head quarters basically they are called an HQ choice but they are the commanders leaders etc. of that army. I like that idea.

Could you give me link as to what one of the HQ's looks like, Perhaps on the GW site? I don't know the characters names or anything and a link would certainly help. If you have more than 1, a list of them would allow me to choose, just a thought. I don't have any experience in painting 40k, well other than the freebee grunt that you get at the GW shops, so it should be interesting.

that sounds like a killer idea. if your just looking for stuff to paint so u dont have to spend any money on stuff to sit on a shelf i have a ton of stuff i never got to if youd want to do them. most i dont really need back (unless u dont want the clutter laying around) they are just guys i bought to do some day but that day is sooooo far off. now dont think i'm looking for free paint jobs thats not it but i know how it is to want to keep ur hobby going w/o spending a ton on it. and like i said most i dont need back.

Natakue That looks cool, I assume that you would have a paint scheme in mind? I think the only thing that I would have a tough time with is the writing on the book, and it would take me some time to do... maybe 3 weeks, I wouldn't want to hold up your army, as I'm sure you know the holidays are coming up and some stuff has to go on the back burner, I can't buy it until the new year, but I could give it a shot.

Bootleg, I appreciate the offer, please don't think that I'm asking for a "hand out" as that is not my intention, If you do have some figs that you don't require anymore I'd be happy to paint them, what type of figs are we lookin' at? Let me know which ones you want back (I can do those first), depending on the response to this, I might get busy. Let me send that project to you first before you send me anything, it would make me feel better Please, anyone with interest in this swap sort of thing, If you would like a mini painted, I do take my time with it, for 2 reasons 1) It's not the only thing I do, Otherwise the Girlfriend would kill me 2) I do the best work that I can and it takes time, I want to give you something that I can be proud of. Keep in mind that it takes me about 2-3 weeks to do a fig from start to finish, depending on the fig and how busy I am, so if you're in a hurry to get it done, I might not be the painter for you By the way, if this happens it will start in the new year, after the holiday dust settles
