TO me the best paints out there are Reaper! These guys coat real well and are very easy to use. There are some GW paints that I like but not very many. I LOVE THERE NEW WASHES!!!! _________________ Natakue "You'll shoot you eye out kid!"

Hmm... i havnt used many paints... I use citadel paints... but i dont actualy like them all that much. I have tried the paint that comes with packs of the game 'Robotech Miniature Battles' they were ok... but i dont think they are a big name brand. Lol.. once i tried these random paints that my friend purchased from an art store.. he uses em' 2 paint his models.. I couldnt use em.. they was so shite!! the paints was rock hard but when u wet your brush and dip it in it somehow sticks to ur paint brush, gave a great texture but it didnt stick 2 the models very well... (cant remember the name of em')

I'd reccommend: Vallejo Game Colour Vallejo Model Colour Games Workshop Those are my recommendations because of what I have used. SOme of the GW colours are absolute crap... like yellows... there are techniques to yellow though.. like painting elf flesh as a base for an area that will be painted yellow. Come to think of it....man can some of that gw paint suck the will to paint out of me...

Yeah... well. I've heard good things about Fenris Grey (foundation) but I think it's a bit too dark-bluish for a standalone space wolf colour. Also, as I'm sure you have seen online, most space wolf players use a mix of shadow grey and space wolf grey. After that, a mix of fortress and codex grey is popular.

| Ok guys...here's some more for ya. Ceramcoat. For those in the states, they sell it at Michael's craft stores. Mostly. The link below is the color chart for all of their paints. Just make sure that you pick one up that is opaque...not the translucent. Had a buddy do that for their Ultra Blue (equal to Ultramarine Blue), and it was a very interesting paint job. These are 3x the size of the GW paints, and cost about $1.05 each. Now, metallics, I've heard, are still better in the GW format. Give these a shot, as always, on some crap ass model that was part of a box set, like the pilot from Macragge, or some other model that has taken too many falls from the table. Look forward to hearing feedback on this stuff. The group I run with is using it, and myself, and I haven't seen any issues yet. http://www.deltacreative.com/pcid/16/Default.aspxBlood _________________ Where there is darkness, fear, and hatred, I will be there...whispering in your ear...planning my return...

Vallejo Game colour, Vallejo Model colour, Reaper Master series, Reaper Pro series, P3 Paints, Citadel Paints, Coat D'arms. I recommend all of those, Try them out and see which you like the best. You may even find that you like some blues from reaper, some reds from vallejo, and greens from Citadel(just and example not necessarily true) So try them out and see what works best for you. Thanks guys, Gary.
