| what I used to do was paint dwarf flesh then ink or use flesh wash. then highlight with elf flesh and for eyes I'd use a special 3 bristle brush to first paint on the white and then the dot |

| Well I now have a new way of doing it and it works very well. I use a reapoer pro series paint called ivory. I paint the fave with that then I take the new GW wash Orgren Flesh and wash the face. Im telling you it makes it look sweet! Then I high light the raised areas with the ivory again and it looks sweet! _________________ Natakue "You'll shoot you eye out kid!" |

Think of the scale of the mini, and the distance that it was intended to be viewed at, As Bootleg mentioned at a gaming distance and a scale of 1/60th (for augments sake) Realistically you wouldn’t see that detail any way even if you went through the trouble of doing it. Have a buddy stand 40 ft away from you; can you see the pupils of his/her eyes? It’s more realistic to have the brow cast a shadow over the eyes than actually taking the time to paint the pupils. |
