i tried it, dropped about $900 on it about 2 years ago bought a massive cygnar/merc force and an infantry heavy cryx army for for my gf. I think we only played once or twice before i dumped it all on ebay. to be honest in my opinion the figures were more fun to paint than the game was to play.

Seriously? The gameplay is smooth, fast and easy. The miniatures ARE real fine and detailed, too. I think the game, if given a chance, can be fully enjoyed.

Roselyn played Cygnar, before quitting and moving on to Hordes ( which uses the same rules ) and fell in love with it; I myself, play Cryx and Menoth.

$50 for a starter army with quick start rules is pretty sweet, mate.

Dude thank god their are warmachine players! I figured you played it neuicon so this post was actually directed to you lol.

Yeah man this game in my opinion beats 40k in all aspects. The models are all peuter (sorry ive never actually had to spell the word so dont know if thats correct) and dont come with upgrades so theres no complaining about WYSIWYG. And the tactics are WAY more challenging than other miniwar games. I play Khador btw and LOVE THEM. I wind rushed a Cryx player's warcaster today, i think the name was denegra, then used her feat to freeze all models within 12 inches. Unfortuantly i still lost but it was well worth it to see her wind rush into an awesome movie moment!

I'm thinking about starting a Khador army so well see how that goes, and if anybody has like a spare rule book or sumtin' that would help alot.

I have finaly taken my dive into Khador, and I'm loving it! So far I have a Behemoth, Doom Reavers, a Jugernaught, a Destroyer, and Vlad.

While I'm not overly interested in a new ruleset at the moment, I -adore- some of the figs PP has out!
The Everblight starter box looks like a good deal, while Cygnar and Khador have some stuff that I'd love to throw in my wasteland as well.

Thing is, I don't think I could paint any of it well enough to do the minis justice.
