well i based it off of rifts as far as the mechanics goes and then i found a game kinda like car wars so i'm gonna mix and match the two systems and if i find any more cool ones out there we can throw in the good parts as well. but ya most of it is gonna be freestyle, i do better that way. i still gotta do up a few things (cars, ur home base of operations etc etc) so it'll take me a day or so i figure but i'll be as quick as i can

So, when do we start?

i just need a lil time to get the car and ur home base done up...... i have them in my head i just have to get them on paper....or on digital paper that is shouldnt be too much longer i promise. like i said i have it all worked out in my head (did that in a day dream one day as a customer was rambling on and on while i was tatin her hehehehehe)

ok lets get this thing started.... i dont have everything done that i wanted to have done but if i waited till i had time.....well we may never get to it heheheheheheso here goes


ok you come to the first thing u see is the inside of a helmet and beyond that everything is white...and i do mean everything. u try to move but can not, no matter how hard u try u cant move but u do hear a squeeking noise everytime u try. u start to freak out but just about that time u hear "were here and were gonna get you out...just hang on ur gonna be ok bud"

a few seconds later u hear what can only be the jaws of life shearing metal and seconds later the white gets a lil brighter. u hear what sounds like foam breaking and mins later ur being pulled out of what was at one time a car.(it looks like it was a 60's cougar or mustang maybe its hard to tell from the clump of metAL IN FRONT OF U) u look at it as they are pulling you out, u see it is full of styrofoam. the outside is trashed big time there isnt one body panel that isnt tore up in some way or another. the front end is pushed up and twisted to the right. from the looks of it the car spun and slammed into the track. as u look around the area u see pieces and parts for a cpl hundred yards, u can tell u was floating before the wreck because the trail of carnage and part and pieces goes on and on and on. when u look at the roll cage that they cut to pull u out u see a bunch of nozels with foam clumped on them and u figure that must be where the foam inside the car came from...... but you dont remember even getting inside of a car...... as ur standing there thinking a cpl of the guys rush u into a squad and before u know whats happening the sirens are blareing and ur being hooked to iv's and they are checking ur vitals.

they take u to a med station that isnt very big but they have a lil of everything inside it (track side med station) and as u was coming inside u saw a helicopter on the roof for the things they cant fix. needless to say they run u threw test after test to make sure ur alright. they have u in a bed (one of the six here) and have the curtain most of the way closed but u see a guy talking to the doctor and giving him money...what looks like a lot of money. then he comes in to see you "well how u feeling boss" he closes the curtain and sits next to u and wispers the rest of this "boss u took a hell of a hit and have amnesia. he goes on......

***dm note yes i start all my players off with amnesia, it just helps with why ur here and so we dont have to come up with stories as to why ur here and what ur doing etc etc.... now u remember what a tv is and how to make a bowl of cereal and stuff like that but the who what where and why is gone. u may or may not remember ur name (dm roll usually) but u know the general stuff in life just not the details of what ur doing when we start.....****


ok he goes on..... i took care of it boss i paid him off cause we have every dime we have wrapped up in this years races and if it got out that u didnt know what was what they wouldnt let u race and we'd be broke and screwed.... so i paid him off and promised if anything was wrong with u we would come back and let him know about it. he tells u that he is one of ur buddies sons and that he helps u out when ur racing since dad insists i have a job. but we have another car with us for the next race so u'll spend the night here and we'll leave in the morning for the next track. after that we have a break for a week then a triple header race weekend. he asks if you have any questions???? he also tells u not to let anyone know about ur condition cause if so u'll be banned from the track and we'll be screwed....well u more than me but i'll have to go get a real job so i'll be screwed as well.

ok a little world history so u know what kind of world ur in..... ww3 was about 5 years ago and it was a nuclear war........ although it wasnt the way everyone thought it would be as in the end of everything..... yes some parts of the world u cant go to because of the fall out. and some goverments fell but life did go on and things are trying to go back to normal....it's just going to take time. and thats how the death race came about people needed things to take their minds off their real lives and death races were one of them. there are other sports that involve life and death that are going on but none like ur sport (there are gladiator events and sports like blood bowl and murder basketball) this is ur second season of racing ur first year u came in the top ten (placed 8th)

u live in north america, which is split into four diff goverments. and we'll get into more of that later. but people are more self suffecient now most carry guns around to protect themselves and u now talk to the guy living next door to u and down the street because they just may save ur life this week, cities are even close nit now and people look out for each other.

most of the world isnt like mad max (some parts are though) but it isnt like leave it to beaver either.

Alright, this was real good work, man. The background is fun and thorough, and now, to get into character...

I look at the guy who's just spoken to me, and say "Well, before I get back on the track for you, you seem like someone I can trust, but I have a few questions for you."

I'm hoping at this point to look around the room and spot anything that just may come in handy later (eg, name tags on the docs, the guy's name, familiar surroundings, etc.).

Now, I turn back to him and ask, "I have to know, what my name is? Do I have a family? What year is it, and will you help me get back to where I once was?"

I am simply trying to figure out as much as I can, and trying to read this guy's face (seeing if I can denote any lies through his tones or shit). I am also trying to put little trust in him to get some answers and see if anything he says holds up to truth. I am just being "cautious".

ok the guy kinda chuckles and says no no i work for u, my dad is one of ur buddies his name is dave. anyway he was riding my ass to get a REAL job, even though i always made enough to keep me going but for him that wasnt enough. but anyway u started racing last year and was doing it by urself, which wasnt all that easy. so two and two makes fourty four, we got together and i started working for u being like ur pit crew. it helped u out and got dad off my asz.

as far as ur name u race by nightrigher although ur real name is....(i'll leave that up to u) and ur mom and pops are still alive although i dont think u get along with em too well, u never talk about em so i dont know the whole story on that one. now u do have a bad asz ole-lady at home, but man she's gonna freak when she finds out u lost ur memory. she dont like u racing....not one lil bit.

the year is 5pa (post atomic) which relates to about 2065ad. the war broke out in 2020 and lasted for about 40 years if i remember my schooling that is. and its five years after the bombs so 2065 or 2066 is about right. from the way the kid talks (he looks to be 18 to 20) u'd think he didnt have much of a education, he uses alot of slang and just dont sound real sure of himself, although u cant imangine u'd hire a dummy.....but u dont know cause u cant remember........

he goes on and tells u that we'll be going back home after the next race and we'll have a week off so u can get some rest and hopefully when u get home ur stuff will remind u of who u are....i hope so anyway.

the kid seems to be telling u the truth from what u can tell, although u dont have a lot to go on at this point. he sits down next to the bed and asks if there is anything u want or need. the doc wants to keep u threw the night just to make sure ur ok and as soon as he releases you we'll take off.

as u look around the room there isnt much in here, but u do spot a sharps container (where they put their dirty needles and such) that has a few syringes in it (old and used) that u could use as a weapon if needed. but thats about it in ur area, theres a bed a stand with a cpl iv bottles (which ur hooked up to) and two chairs for visitors to sit on and thats about it.
now outside of the room there seems to be a ton of stuff and it seems as if there is a doc and two nurses and thats about it. now when u came into the building there was a guard station when u first came in so u know theres a cpl guards but u havnt seen them since. now the inside of this building has just about everything a hospital would have although something stuck out at you. everything looks portiable.... like they could or do pack up after every race. everything had wheels on it and if it had drawers it had a bar that locked into place so the drawers couldnt open. but even things like the xray machine had wheels on it, the cat-scan tube had wheels everything.

but no nothing around you could give u an idea of who u are or where ur at.....maybe outside of this room yes but in here no.

ok ur buddy asks if he can answer anything else or if he can get u anything. after he tells u what u ask he tells u he is going to get out of here and go get the car loaded up in the truck and get everything packed up so when they release you we can split town. he tells u that he almost forgot....he leaves the room and brings back in a disc and a small disc player. he flips the player open and puts the disc into it. he tells u it is footage of the wreck..... one of the camera crew came and gave it to me.... i dont think were supp to have it bacause he was acting real spooked out when he gave it to me. he sits it at the foot of the bed and tells u he'll be back in the morn.

ok i wanted to see if u asked him anything else but u hav,nt answered so i;m just gonna keep on going if u wanna ask him anything u can and we'll back up a sec or two to do it then jump back to the present.


ok needless to say the nurses make up over u after the doc leaves for the night, its like once the adult left the kids will play kind of thing. now the one nurse is HOTT and after the way she makes over u it dont take much on ur part to get both naked and have a lil fun. so hours later and a few reliefs later u crash for the night.

in the morning ur lil buddy comes in to get u the nurses sign u out and wink at ya before u walk out the door. he walks u over to a truck and tells u well this is it and points to it. the truck looks like a big uhaul (not the design just the type)it is painted white with no lettering or anything on it, there are tool boxes along the bottom and on the back is a folding lift that looks like its big enough to lift any size car, maybe even a truck (pick-up). (dm note i'll write up and draw up a pic of it here soon) the front part of the truck looks quite normal, there is nothing that screams this belongs to a death racer at all.

u mention it to ur bud and he tells u well that was ur idea u said u didnt want to draw attention to it in case u stopped somewhere u didnt want fans or people who was pissed at ya to know it was u. but trust me we can handle em if they do try something cause we armed it pretty good, let someone try something i cant wait to see that cause we'll blow em outta the sky.....he looks confused...or ground......or...we'll we'll blow em away. he looks pissed at something. he tells u come on and walks to the front pulls out a remote and pushes a button and the door unlocks and opens and he climbs into the cab and leaves it open for you.
