ok thats 15 total damage ok i roll for dodges a 1 and a 11 ok both are hits and the things chest explodes in a furious spray of goo and hunks of stuff u cant describe what they are. all u know is that it stinks bad (i mean BAD).

u look around but since its still dark out u dont see much (the muzzle flashes from ur gun wouldnt help with that either) but u dont hear anything out there so u start to relax ever so slight

what do u do

i guess ill go back up on the wall and try the radio again to see where the hell those pilots are and if the battery's are dead ill change them with the ones in my pack.

ok u get back up and try to radio someone but get nothing but that pinging noise. but u sit back and relax for a second and see u can see for miles from up here so u feel safe for the min and go to sleep. in the morn u get up and go to try the radio again but still nothing but at least the pinging is starting to get closer together and u figure they are coming closer any way.
but sitting up there u see the thing u killed is still laying there but there is 3 THINGS eating on the body [img][/img]

they are about 2 foot long and just ripping the carcus apart. other than that nothing has changed ...except for the battle field has attracted tons of flies but ya other than that nothing has changed

i guess ill have my gun out and sit tight and see if they run off .

ya they eventually take off but it takes an hour or so b4 they get their fill of ur attacker. they catch wind of u after they get done eating and even come ur way but they have no way up to u so after 10 mins or so they get bored and slip away.

the day goes by SLOW with nothing going on but dead soldiers rotting away. as night starts to fall ur walkie talkie starts pinging real fast and a few seconds later u hear jet engines in the distance. a few mins later u see three shuttles coming ur way and u feel happy as.....well happy. but then u get a pit in ur gut as u hear what sounds like a rocket going off and then u see a smoike trail heading towards one of the shuttles and then it goes BOOM. pieces and parts fly everywhere the explosion is HUGE. the other two almost wreck from the shockwave that comes from the explosion.

one of the shuttles breaks off and turns around and starts firing with everything they have at a ground target u cant see. meanwhile the other heads ur way and comes right up to the top of the ruin ur on opens up one hatch and theres a guy there tell u to jump.

i need 3 percentage rolls if ur jumping if not i need 5 for u to climb down

ok u take a deep breath and jump.........................................................and make it (woohooo) as soon as ur in the guy grabs u and says something and the shuttle takes off like a bat out of hell. the door isnt even closed b4 it hits full speed. the guy that grabbed u holds onto u until the door closes all teh way, as soon as he lets go he reaches down to his boots and hits something and u see it was hooked to the floor but he un-hooks and sits down.

they fly for a few mins b4 stopping and meeting up with the other shuttle that was in the group that came to get u. u look over at the guy that grabbed u and he tells u that they said over the radio that they destroyed the group the blew the other shuttle up, there was 6 guys with 2 surface to air rocket launchers and 4 small arms. he chuckles and says thats what they get although they did get us b4 the got got. the rest of the trip is quiet for the most part everyone looks worn out and running on fumes. needless to say u slip off to sleep on the trip as well u figure u was more tired than u thought.

but needless to say eventually u reach a base camp and land. as u step out it looks like a large tent city with thousands of men running here and there. there must be a hundred aircraft from fighters to shuttles and three times as many tanks and assualt craft of all shapes and sizes moving around as well. but u no sooner get all the way out than a guy with all kinds of medals on his chest walks up with 5 guards in tow and asks what happened out there son???? u get the feeling this guy is someone BIG and IMPORTANT

what do u do

i guess ill stand an salute ...ill then tell him that i woke up on a strange planet with this bump on my head ,and that i got flashbacks of my friends and family all being murdered.
ill tell him i also called the pilots that took me here and told them to come help me ,and that i had 2 fight some sort of alien and or monster to get ontop of these ruins to call them and that i wouldnt have been saved if those brave nobel men hadnt have saved me .

ok he looks at u with this oh ya kind of look, but then tells u to follow him and he and his guards lead u to a huge tent (thats laid out). the inside of this tent is bad ass and has everything a house would have (all the way to carpet) and then some. u see one area is set up for combat planning and military kind of work (computer screens on the walls all the way to a holo table with what looks like a game of 40k on it in holo-grams although u know its this planet and those lil tanks and stuff are real people fighting and dieing. theres even a huge ass wooden desk that looks fit for a king. the other side is living qtrs and they are done up just as nice. needless to say he's far from roughing it

but he de-briefs u a lil better and asks a ton of questions (over and over) and even calls in a doctor to look u over. during this time he also get u fed with some of the best food u've had in........well ur not sure how long cause u cant remember but it is good as heck. he even gives u a cpl drinks out of his personal bar which is top notch to say the least. b4 the doc looks at u they get u cleaned up and fresh clothes and all fixed up, patched up and ready to go. the doc confirms ur have a case of the who am i's and that something will jog ur memory back (or should anyway) but cant say when that will happen.

but all of this takes a few hours and when its all done he tells u to go get some rest and he'll call 4 u later. they take u to a private tent which isnt as nice as the generals but better than most of the troops ur sure. it even has a real bed in it not a cot, u assume this is for visitors or someone higher up. they even post a guard outside so ur not bothered by anyone. needless to say u hit that pillow and it feels so good that u.......................

.wake up two days later feeling like a million bucks. theres a tray of food beside the bed and another older one on a desk close by. but u eat and when u go outside (after washing up and dressing) the guard tells u to follow him. he takes u back to the top dogs tent who sits u down and gets u a drink. he tells u he's checked out ur story all the way to the monster (they sent a clean up team to go get the dead bodies so they checked out ur story while they were there) and everything checks out. he tells u other than the memory loss ur a very lucky man as ur whole platoon was wiped out down to the last man which was u, and that they have taken back ur dead status, he even shows u the death cert. they had made out 4 u as they thought the battle was a total loss. but now that ur back from the dead and since u've done what few others could of done u have a choice he can put u with another unit OR use u as a special opps unit of one the choice is urs. but he figures if u made it as far as u have u might be up for the one man squad jobs he has.

ok this is gonna be short and sweet as i'm working off a generator and all and posts may be a lil sporatic until i get power back on for good but here goes

ok he lets u rest up for a day or two then calls u back in to see him. he tells u they have a job for u to do. he tells u that the battle has come to a stale mate at this point and they need to do something to break it or wait till more troops arrive on the planet but that may take a few days so what they want to do is cause some problems for them. he tells you that there is a town that has been supplying them for some time now we took out the supply lines but somehow they have found a way to get around us and get supplies to the front. what they want you to do is be dropped behind lines and cause some problems for this town to disrupt things for them. he tells you that they could just bomb the town but that would just strengthen the tribes resolve and make the fighting that much worse. what they want you to do is plant some charges in key areas of town and then light it up. what they hope it will do is make the troops have to fall back to protect the town OR make the town quit supplying them either way it will help. they also have a few pics of key people in town if you were able to take these people out that might work as well either way we need some problems behind the lines so the guys on the front have to look both in front of them and behind them that should put enough pressure on the troops to let us start to push them back and get this battle over. he tells u that the commanders back home just want to nuke the whole planet and be done with it but i'd rather save some of these people and put them to work for us and have another good planet instead of a hulk of rock. so u up for it son???????

ok they get u all geared up b4 u head out. they give u 2 weeks rations and water, a first aid/ survival kit, 12 smoke gernades, 12 frag gernades 12 large bombs (these are the size of a paper back book and all u have to do is click a switch to turn it on and theres another switch to select the channel) 12 small bombs (same as big ones but half size) one controler (u can set off as many as are on a channel, so u can have two diff set of explosions) 12 clips for each gun except ur shotgun, since u have a break away shotgun which only has up to two shots they give u a combat shotgun which holds 9 and 50 rounds for it 25 buck 25 slug. they also give u an assualt laser/slug throwing flamer (it has a med laser with a single shot bullet for sniping and also has a flamer under it for close combat sits) they give u 25 shells for it 12 clips for the laser and 3 tanks for the flamer. they also give u a watch that also has a walkie-talkie on it (it has a cloth band that has a cover to protect the glass part and glare off it. the walkie part has a hold button on it so when pushed no calls will come thru just in case ur where u dont want to be caught or whatever. when the hold is pushed and a call comes in it will vibrate to let u know a call is there)

ok im ready for my mission

ok they get you all set up and packed up and put a parachute on ya and load you in a shuttle. now this shuttle is a lil diff than any you've seen b4 for one it has twice and many engines as normal and it is completely black flat black nothing on the whole thing is shiny not even the glass. this one also opens from the back like it could have something driven up in it although its not big enough for that. but anyway its almost night when you guys take off and as soon as they get up in the air you hear over the comm stealth mode engaged. with that the lights goes out even the marker light on the outside and as soon as it gets dark u feel the other engines kick in. anyway the trip isnt too long and b4 long they open the back up and get u ready to jump out. they have you hooked to a saftey line so u dont fall out till ur ready to jump. they head over a town and from this far up its kinda hard to see but it does have a few lights so u can see it. they tell you that they will drop you 5 miles out of town and then its up to you. they hand you what looks like a beeper it has one button on it he tells you when ur ready push it and they will come try and get you.

now during this lil bit of time the town has fallen off in the distance so they turn back around and kick it in the butt and only slow down long enough for u to jump and they go right back to high tailing it out of there

you was high enough and its dark enough that no one sees you and its a nice peaceful decent down. from this height you get to see allot even though its pretty dark u still get a feel for the lay of the land. outside of town about 2 miles is what looks like tanks now what they hold you dont know but they are pretty big. not too far from there is a power station then u hit the town. as u come in for a landing u think to urself :hey wait i thought this planet was all tribal people with no technology to speak of. it was a fedual planet or so you thought but if so why do they have this stuff???? but with that you land in a field that is surrounded by woods.

dm note in the next day or so i'm gonna draw up a map of the area so u can see whats what. sound cool??? but till then whats the game plan??????
