ill tell him that i woke up and couldnt remember anything but i had a flashback of landing here and witnessing one of my comrades whole body being blown to pieces but , i am the only one left that i know of as ive patrolled the area and have had no luck of finding any form of life
.ill also tell him about the bump on my head and that it hurts when i touch it and if they are coming to pick me up ill fire a few rounds of into the sky if they want to no where i am .

he tells you there wilkl be no need for that wait a sec. in a cpl mins the walkie talkie starts to make noise that sounds like in the movies when a sub is using their sonar its kind of a pinging noise with some echos. he comes across and tells u that they will be able to find you with that and to find sum shelter as it may be awhile b4 they can get someone in that sector as the battle has moved onward just hole tight and we'll confirm who u truly are. but know this if ur now one of ours u will feel the emporors wrath

the radio goes silent and no matter what u say into it theres no responce just that pinging noise which over time (few hours) start to ping sooner and sooner like some sort of tracking device.

what are u going to do

ok i guess ill just go wait by the ruins ,and i dont no wether to keep the radio on incase its help or turn it off incase its an enemy i guess ill keep it on for now but ill just watch my back .

ok u walk around the ruins to find u a real good spot to set up a camp as u have no ised how long its gonna take to get picked up. u find a spot and clear out some of the rubble to make u a comfortable spot to set up, thers lots of shade there so it'll help with all of the heat. u get in ur pack to get out some water (ur not real hungary from the heat) but as ur drinking away u hear some rocks moving off to one side of where ur set up. u try to move as quiet as poss (dm rolls) and as u turn the corner u see one of these sniffing the air (u fig the smell of the bodies has brought it here)

it stands about 3 foot tall at the shoulders and is the same color as the rocks in the area. when it stops moving its real real hard to see at all, its camo like qualities is super, as i said if it wasnt moving u wouldnt of seen it

what do u do

i guess ill pull my gun out quitely and sneak behind a part of a ruin (preferably so i can see him but he wouldnt be able to see me as much)

ok combat time

i need a percent roll for int (who goes first) then to make it easy dont worry about the rule post i put up earlier we'll do it the easy way, not the dark heresy way i'm going to use the system for rifts for u its much easier to grasp and use than gw's way the stats wont change for u but instead of rolling percentage for hits roll a 20 (1d20) that web site has them, now for skills it'll still be a percentage roll just combat will be diff. their system is just complicated and for no good reason now if u was here and we could sit down and talk and see each other i'd teach u their way but since were doing it on here and u have never played i'm going to do it the easy way. that way u dont have to worry about turn and half turns etc etc

if u take aimed shots u get one per turn if u just fire u get 2 if u shoot wild u get 3 now this isthe number of rolls u make each turn. now of course the aimed shot would have a bonus to hit but u dont have to worry about that just figure out if u want to aim the shot (which would take longer) fire normal (u'd still aim just not as long) or just open up with lead in the air and hope for the best.

ok so roll a percentage (1d100) to see who goes first the 1-2or3 rolls (1d20) for ur attacks and 2 rolls for ur dodges (1d20) now this will go on each turn until u either knock him out kill him or he runs away. is that easy enough?????? trust me it'll be allot easier that games workshops way of combat. theirs are just allot more detailed and u dont really need that for it to work

so if ur still lost let me know and we'll go from there

ok i got a 27 for to see who goes first

im gonna take an aimed shot so for that i got a 4 :S

ok and for my dodges i got 3 and 7

no im pritty sure i no whats happening now anyways if i do need to no what to do ill just look at the message above and hopefully thisll help me out thx again !!

bud i understand and for trying to learn this way ur doing freaking awsome, i mean i learnt around a table where u can see each other and look at books etc etc so thats allot easier than how ur doing it so ya bud ur fine. u did throw me for a loop with the 4:s i was like what the hell but then i looked and seen u have single shot and three round burst and was like wow he got it yeeaaahhaa!!!!!!! (lil john ya) so ya i got faith in ya ur gonna kick ass i can tell

ok for my rolls hehehe for int i got a 27 as well which normally would be a reroll since its the same but i'm gonna give it to ya to speed this up but the 4 would be a miss (big miss out in left field miss) and i just got to thinking about it u wouldnt needed dodges as ur not up on each other so u didnt really need to roll those but thats my fault not urs i goofed. but it would spend its turn closing the gap between u 2 so ur turn

(u have int for the rest of the battle.....well for the most part there are a few things that could happen to change that but i'm not gonna try to confuse u yet)

so tell me what ur doing and make ur to hit rolls and thats it this round as it wont get to you until next round so fire away bud

ok first for his dodges 11'20 ok first shot is a hit second shot is a miss so roll damage for one 1d10+3 its an energy hit

and ya u could try getting away and trying to find cover but theres not allot here that would help against him too much. i mean its not a guy with a gun an u can hide behing a half wall while he shoots at u he's a monster so he's gonna keep coming and coming until he gets ahold of ya. yes u might get away for a few extra shots but he's just gonna keep coming until he gets u or u get him so its not the same kinda fight as a normal army duck and shoot. so what u looking for in cover like a hlaf wall of rubble pile or like one of the partial buildings

but roll dam and next round of attacks (or if ur hitting cover ur attacks will be used up in running for it either way) and dodges

for the damage i got a 6

i think i might just shoot him twice again thats a

7 and a 12

and for dodges

4 and 2

im Rollin awfully low lol

ok for its dodges 2,4 damn ur just reversed so theres two more hits roll for damage

ok its attacks its coming at u with its claws 4 and a 16 so the first one would of been a roll off if it was a hit but its not so it hits but ur armor would of taken the blunt of the damage, at best it might of knocked u back a cpl feet (at best)

so next round of attacks roll away

ok was that 8&1 for damage or attacks???? u need 2 rolls for damage then ur attack rolls and dodge rolls so just re-roll this turn i must not of been clear. ok bud see ya in the morn
