ok he looks at you as if your crazy as hell for walking out into the woods by urself. now he walks to the edge of where the light from the camp fire glows then stops and draws his gun up for the ready but does not walking out into the darkness.
ok the blood trail is pretty good of a trail to follow and even the foot prints (or clar, hoof whatever print) is pretty deep at first then starts to get less deep as it goes. you figure it was so deep because he was running very hard so he made deep prints, and as he goes on he slow down a lil so the trail isnt so deep. the farther out from the light the harder it is to follow the trail, and it does not take very long or far for it to get hard to follow (less than a hundred yards from the light) you still can see the trail but you have to look allot harder to see them and are not able to look up and around as much as ur having to look down more to see the trail.
ok you get to an area and u can tell the monster sat around here a lil bit, maybe it was trying to figure out where to go or its wounds were bothering it or something but at any rate u can tell it moved around this one lil area for a sec or two as the trail looks like it was almost walking in circles in this area before taking off in a direction. there is allot of blood here as well so you can tell if stopped here for some reason. but you pick up the trail again and it is moving off to the east. at this point you between 150 and 200 yards away from the camp site.
as u look at the site u see that it actually is pretty easy to see from here as if it is sticking out real well in the darkness of this area. now ur not able to see details or whatever from this distance but the fire glowing actually sticks out like a sore thumb , allot more than you would of figured.
just as u start to take off again u hear a noise off to the west which is not the direction the monster went, your not sure what the noise was but u heard SOMETHING ur just not sure what it was but there was something
