I've just purchased A Gamesworkshop, Valkyrie Gun Ship. With a little tweaking it could be a superb stand alone show case model.
Taking a look around the model a wealth of idea's spring to mind on how to super-detail it, my only problem is that the ships cockpit seriously lacks any real detail. . . . . The idea is to completely remove the original cockpit and to replace it with a modified F-17 style one. Fantastic idea Huh?
Now comes the problem, What scale do I use? Gamesworkshop figures are 28mm in size & the closest next to it is 1/48 scale (36.5 mm ) but this looks to small against the chunky 40K style figures.
Next after that is 1/35 scale (50mm) but these look to large.
Any idea's out there guy's Question

There are guys who make garage kits out there for aircraft...
If you go to a good scale-model shop they may have some seperate interior upgrades for various kits..cheaper than a whole f-18
I think 25mm=1/60th scale?...
Go figure exactly between 48 and 72nd Smile
