I think its either the Lance or the Lancet, a UK medical journal has said Swine Flu only kills those that would be killed by the normal Flu ie babies/small children and the elderly. Swine Flu has broke out 3 times in America now, and did in Spain. The precautions went up purely on media hype. As they say 'Swine Flu seems only to be contagious in the media' =P

The statements by the governments of america and england so far have said to prevent spread cover your mouth when you cough, make sure no one coughs near you, go to a doctor if you know someone whos been to mexico.

Flu is still quite the killer. It's less the number and more of 'who'.
HIV and AIDs positive people, The elderly, very small babies, un-innoculated children, dying/diseased.
It's those who're weak to pretty much any infection and thus we should not be scared, just worried for those who doctors say should be wary. Let's stop talking about it as we're just adding to its hype =P

if you go to the doctor within the first two- three days of coming down with flu like symptoms you can be cured easily with tamaflu and other medications. It really inst a big deal its not like we have another SAR's out break on our hands.
