Well, folks, I am happy to announce that a plan for our community's very own website and store will be up sometime within the next few months.
Now, here's the plan:
- Wartube Online will be a website specially made for the community and will host several sections containing a hobby section, a painting section, monthly galleries, downloads, videos and much more. This is all in the interest of helping further something "official" for the community and will also work very much like the magazine, only in much more "often" circulation in regards to how often it is updated.
- Oliver has plans to work on his own online store, which will carry GW items, and other things; the laws in England provide its citizens to have website stores and no requirements that force these online store owners to have business licenses. I don't know exactly what he is going to do with Obsidian Painting, but it might just end any dealing we have with them, except for the occasional "shout-out". Oliver and Gary need to discuss this between themselves to work that out.
- These forums will stay here, so that's nothing new at all.
- Parts of the forum will be implimented onto the website, meaning the podcasts will have their own section, such as, voxcast.wartubeonline.com, the magazine will have its own section with downloadable goodies and much more.
- Lastly, we'll need a team. I will be working on the selection of a few good guys from within the community to update sections of the website; after all, this is community-based.
Let me know what you all think of the coming website.
Thanks, guys.
*Remember, this is all WARTUBE, no outside dealing, spam or banners. This will be entirely a Wartube project, so as to keep it within the fray of our own community.
