Hey guys I just wanted to know if you you had any ideas on highlighting black armor besides hard edged highlights, not a big fan of that. I've already checked out the GW site and haven't found anything that I really like, so i thought I'd ask you. And just see if you guys had any comments on other areas where I could improve. Keep in mind I've only been painting for about 3 months and I paint more from a modeling aspect and not gaming so if the model has some strange or illegal combo its only ...

start a proper Warhammer or 40k army to date.

I have to admit, I don't role-play. ( could never get my head around it. ) But have always wanted a mega kick-ass army to display.

Painting single miniatures have never been a problem. But when it comes to painting something as simple as a squad I freeze in terror and never get ...

So I watered down some P3 paint (bloodstone) to do a rust wash effect before hitting the model with a brybrush of boltgun and the "wettest" parts of the paint that dried last turned yellow.

Has anyone else had these types of issues with the privateer press paints? Up until the time I painted this I have had no other issues with them.

Hi guys

I just want to ask what would the best way to paint an urban imperial guard.

I don’t mined a really, really hard scheme. The scheme I want is a dark blue, black, gray and all other dark colors. I don’t really care how long it takes to do but it should be a high standard (hopefully to be entered in golden demon 2009).

Well I hope some one with some experience in painting guard can help me.

The red I'm not fussed about, but what lighter colour could I use to highlight the granite, and plus lemme know what you think

Hey, it's been a long time since I've painted and currently am painting my Tau hq crisis battle suite.

Commander FireHeart (Shas'o Shas'Ro Nan'Shas'ka Ol'M'yen).

Well I've started him but he aint looking right, the paint job is a bit chalky and quite unclean which I can sort out ( I hope) but I dunno, something is just not right.

Ideas, Painting tips or any thing that can help improve the look of him would be most brilliant!

I have a good site for terrain articles and such, if anyone's interested.

(Just trying to do something for the community; I know Bootleg and Natakue's stuff was inspirational for me... and, Bootleg... one ...
